New Writing Gig

I've submitted three things to Associated Content (very low pay, but it's supplemental). The last of the three was accepted. I'm hoping the other two will be, and may be branching off onto other sites after I see how this plays out. Anyway, here is the piece:

Let me know how it works out. I have an account there so I can submit my abandoned DS rewrites and what not, but I haven't tried it out yet.

Yeah, I don't know what to expect. I'm doing it as an experiment. I haven't read anything on rewrites or anything, so I have no idea what to expect.

I don't think there are rewrites on AC. People talk about it a lot on the DS forums, they use it to submit rejected articles and no one ever mentioned editors or rewrites. I think, though, pay depends on hits. I am confused about their pay structure though, so I could be wrong.

Actually, that's fairly accurate. There are two ways to be paid (maybe three): hits and up front. Up front pay is for articles you write from a queue, which sounds like Demand. The hits has multiple levels depending on clout and whatnot. Don't totally understand it all, either, but enough of it.

I plan on doing a bunch Wednesday and this weekend. I've only done three, with just one being picked up so far. The ones that aren't up front ones get reviewed within a week, I think, which is not fast like Demand, but faster than a standard magazine writing gig.
